There are buildings and rooms which have all the connotations of the presence and blessing of God about them.  This is one such place, and I'm conscious of past personalities and their messages that have been heard within these walls for over 30 years.

I hope we all never want to forget, the people who have stood here before us.

Whose ‘glory speeches’, echoed around this room, touching the multitude of those who came to listen.
I stand before you a man whose life was changed when God intervened and filled my soul with a burning desire to feed on the ‘word’.

A desire that came through being born again in Christ.

Daniel is an Evangelical preacher I met 2 years ago, and I asked him what had led him to the Lord, he answered, that he came from a long line of preachers; his father was a preacher, as was his granddad, and his father before him. I found this remarkable and told him I was envious of his upbringing knowing the passion of the Lord all his life, he looked at me and to my utter amazement said, ‘Dave I’ve never had the pleasure of ‘coming’ to Christ the way you have, I’ve never had the excitement of being born again, I’ve always known God’.

The next time I see Daniel I shall tell him.
